Self Empowerment Session
$899
Empowerment sessions are a little different than what you might have seen other places. We collaborate to build the session around the things you want to explore more about yourself (and if you’re not sure, that’s ok). Often folks use these sessions as a way to see themselves and their bodies honestly and safely through the eyes of another. A beautiful way of digging deeper into themes of body kindness and liberation, gender, aging, health struggles, queerness, and even just to exist for a bit in a space where you feel really seen. I will help guide you through everything but this is not a passive experience of simply being posed in the same positions as all other clients. We’ll be actively engaged, working together to challenge old ideas and document the process in a beautifully authentic type of therapeutic art.

It all starts with you contacting me so we can chat about what a session might look like for you and I’ll answer any question you have. Then we’ll pick a date for your session, you’ll pay a $300 non-refundable retainer and sign the contract online to officially reserve your date. That’s it!
Note that these sessions take place in your home so you can be as comfortable as possible (or you can add on a rental location if you’d prefer to do it somewhere else).
Pre-Session Connection
Once you’re booked, I’ll send over 2 questionnaires for you to answer. One is for information about you and your thoughts for the session’s style. The other is the Deep Dive questionnaire that goes into your history and present experiences around what motivates you, brings you joy, your relationship with your body and more.
After you’ve completed them we’ll have a video consultation where we’ll go over all the details about how you want to be photographed, what you want to explore, what to bring and some guidance for mentally preparing for this unique experience.
Getting Ready
I’ll arrive at your home (or rental) and we’ll spend some time getting the lay of the land, see what the light is doing in the space and going over your wardrobe options to pick which ones we’ll use.
Before we start we’ll review and set intentions for the session, do a little warm up and stretching plus some breathing exercises to get our heads and hearts on the same page. Sure it’s a little woo-woo but it works really well for this kind of intimate creativity.
Your Session
The images we create during your session will be unique to you and this moment in time. We’ll put on music, I’ll guide you through posing as well as some simple unposed activities, we’ll dance, and laugh and talk. It’ll probably be a little scary and a little awkward and utterly empowering as we make magic together.
Most sessions usually last about 2-3 hours but as with everything in these sessions, you are in charge. I check in regularly and if you want to take a break or stop or switch direction you just say the word!
Your Reveal
At the end of your session we’ll set an appointment for you to come in and see your images in about a week. At the reveal we’ll go through your images and spend a little time processing, absorbing and reflecting on the experience.
Every session comes with a private phone app just for you of the edited images from your experience. They will be right there with you whenever you need a little reminder of how amazing and truly capable you are of doing brave and beautiful things.
Your Goodies
Your session comes with a mobile app of all your edited images and there is no additional minimum order. The focus of these sessions is the experience, the photos are just a lovely souvenir.
If you DO want to order any keepsakes from your session like wall art, prints or albums I’ll help you do that at this time.
If you ordered any items from your session they will arrive in a few weeks and I’ll drop them off to you. I really like this part because I get to see you again!

Intimate Couple’s Sessions

This is a session built around the things you want to explore with your partner(s) and the relationship you’ve built together. A fun and unique experience to document your connection, chemistry and intimacy, whatever that looks like in your partnership. These can take place at your home, a rental or hotel, or even out in nature!
Please note that nudity/implied nudity and sexual/sensual scenarios are not the only approach to a couple’s session that I document. You are not expected or required to include these aspects for us to work together for this kind of session. There are so many ways that intimacy and love exists between people and there is so much more to enjoy than just the bedroom.

Outdoor & Stylized Sessions

These sessions tend to be more editorial in nature. An opportunity for you and I to collaborate and create together. You might have a very specific idea in mind for what you want the images to look like, you might want to explore a character or perhaps you know of an incredible location and you just want to go explore some ideas in that space.
Sessions are customized to whatever your inspiration is and I’ll guide you through the process of building a session that captures what you want to explore and how you want to feel.
Pre-booking consultation
Because these sessions vary quite a bit we’ll start by talking through your ideas and inspiration. We’ll also discuss what other elements we’ll need to bring the concept to life such as wardrobe, props, location permits, and grooming and styling etc. and what additional costs for those things will look like.

Once we’ve got a rough idea of what the session will entail we’ll pick a date and time for your session. You’ll pay a $300 non-refundable retainer and sign the contract online to officially book your shoot and then we’re all good to go!
